JOBS

KAJABI SPECIALIST

OVERVIEW:

Seeking a clever, hard-working, curious, independent problem-solver who can help port the website www.friendlyfilmmaker.com from SquareSpace (and other entities) to the one-stop-shop platform host of Kajabi. New functionality will also be added.

Ideally, this person will be available to sign a 90-day contract in the next two weeks, with a start date the first week of March.

This is a part-time contracting gig, ideally lasting no more than 90 days, but with the opportunity to extend. Payments will be delivered for each benchmark task of this initiative.

*This is contract is paid per job, not per hour.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ yrs Experience in website building/managing

  • Clear communication skills

  • Quick comprehension skills

  • Ability to give clear estimates and hit deadlines

  • Ability to self-direct and manage time well

  • Extra consideration (and renumeration) offered for 1+ years experience working in Kajabi specifically.

  • Extra consideration (and renumeration) offered for design experience.

  • Bonus consideration for those with UX/UA experience.

JOB DETAILS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding of (or quick acclimation to) Kajabi structure

  • Building and managing email lists for smooth Newsletter functionality

  • Porting (and slight redesign) of the current Friendly Filmmaker site

  • Adding new components to the site, such as membership structure and video library access

  • Will work closely with Julia via 2 meetings each week (M and F), but will be self-directed in terms of time management, self-teaching, and execution of agreed-upon task list for each week

  • 90 day engagement with option to renew (there will be more development after this site port)

  • 3-4 lump payments as specific site components are delivered.

It should go without saying that we run a friendly ship. So even if you don’t bring all this experience to the table right this second, but you are hungry to learn and feel you can do the job, I’d encourage you to apply. I have resources to bridge knowledge gaps for the right person. In these cases, if you don’t have the experience, the BIGGEST and most important three things I’m looking for are: 1) friendly to work with, 2) delivers on promises made, 3) great at hunting down and absorbing new information independently.

If this feels like an exciting opportunity, fill out the form!

Interviews will begin the week of February 24th, with hopefully the start date soon after.
