1st Community Milestone Hit This Week!

This is incredible. I am gobsmacked as I type this. 

I'm really delighted, and surprised, and hopeful, and fired up to report the following to you....

With 13 members in the community, we hit a pretty incredible milestone this week. 

There are gigs being posted to the Friendly Filmmaker Community that literally expire before the weekly newsletter goes out!!

Meaning, anyone who's in the Community officially has more opportunities to grab independent film gigs than by subscribing to the newsletter alone!

This was my hope, but it's being realized a LOT sooner than I anticipated.

So far, it's starting small.

It's mostly just me and Alaska (our Community Manager) posting gigs we personally hear about. And we're always trying to bring the freshest gigs and news as soon as we hear it.

But this week, I got 6 submissions (6!!!) from Friendly Filmmaker friends who need crew and casting help ASAP, and several of those gigs have been FILLED so fast, they are therefore are not going to appear in Friday's newsletter.

Incredible, right????

I'm over the moon.
